Another Attempt to Join A New Pack...

After about 2 years of searching, the surroundings of this female Timber Wolf suddenly got quiet. As if someone had made a noise that had everyone else soft and quiet. The place seemed very different from all the other locations she had been to. Looking around for a moment, her head barely moving an inch to both sides, she began to look for the correct place to be accepted. Feeling a little uncertain, the confidence building up inside her became stronger than her keep-backs.

Finally deciding to walk, the black fae pondered on. Taking a deep breath, saying to herself, "When in doubt, Relax deeper", because that was her self-motto she always went by. It always calmed her, to remind her that things will be okay for the time being. Continuing to walk, the presence of an unfamiliar place became even stronger. "Hello?" she asked in a shy, but try-to-be-confident kind of tone. Sitting down, ears perked high, she waited for a response.

Shirana was walking quietly throughout her territory, looking at spots she hasn't yet seen when she heard something say hello. Curious, she went towards where the sound came from and found an black wolf with orange eyes sitting down, looking like she was waiting for something. Shirana walked in front of the wolf and cleared her throat before speaking. "Hello, you are in the territory of the ever-flake pack. Do you have any business here?" Shirana recited, her tone friendly sounding as she braced herself for the wolf either saying nice words or spitting insults at her.

Sitting quietly, watching something in the distance move. It looked to be the owner of the pack area, but Hypnosis couldn't be too sure of it. As the wolf in front of her approached, their tone being quite friendly, the black fae stayed very quiet and allowed the top wolf to speak their mind. After listening to each word carefully, Hypnosis tried to speak in the most thoughtful way possible, to hopefully excite the wolf a little bit, and allow her into the pack. Deep inside, she still felt depressed, of her memories in joining other packs, but failed to do so, in account of getting kicked out, or just deciding to leave because no one ever payed any attention to her anyway. "The... Ever-Flake Pack? This... This sounds nice..." It got harder to speak now. But the confidence kept her from being any more depressed than she felt from the start. "Umm... My business is to hopefully join your pack. You see... I have been searching for packs since I was about 11 months old. The one I joined last year, none of the members hardly even noticed me...". Going into a half-trance-like state, Hypnosis's voice changed from her normal tone, to her 1 and a half year old tone. "I would try so hard to get other wolves to notice me, but they just ignored me. Plus the Alphas we're not that nice... They would have bossy-like tones and yell at me all the time if I wasn't doing the right thing. I miss my siblings too. Jade and Flame... They always cared for me. Also my parents. But after days and days of searching...-" Pausing, as she came out of her half-trance-like state, her voice became normal again. "-I... Would like to join your pack... If... If that's okay with you". Slowly rising her head again to make eye contact with the Alpha standing before her, she gave her some time to think things over for a bit, and to allow her to say what she had to say.

Shirana listened calmly and respectfully as the wolf started to explain of its past and saying it wants to join. "Well, then, I see you had an rough past of being ignored and hurt. Well, ever-flake pack respects canine's pasts and that they sometimes want to be forgotten. Here, you do not have to dwell on what could-of-been, but on whats now. I, Shirana, will give you an second chance of life and give you the chance to be loved and appreciated again." As shirana finished, she cleared her throat and quickly added in "Oh, and this means you are accepted in my pack" Shirana said with an smile as she waited to see how she will react.

Hypnosis took the opportunity in listening to what the Alphess had to comment about her past. The past wasn't good, and the Alphess was right. It MUST be forgotten. It wasn't really much of a 'Must' kind of thing, she WANTED to forget it. She didn't want to see or hear of it ever again, for she knew it would pull up awful scenes of how she acted. Picking her head up a little bit more, hearing how this pack was going to treat everyone with the same amount of respect. Hypnosis liked respect, and she loved to respect the hurt feelings of others. The feeling of a repaired heart was going to come in to play soon. "R-Really? I get to join?" An almost warm feeling spread through her body, as she took in the words that were said from the Alphess about joining. "Out of all those other packs that didn't treat me well, I think this is the pack I have been looking for. Thank you. Thank you so much. Oh, and my name is, Hypnosis, by the way. I am honored to be a part of this wonderful place. Although, if there is one thing I haven't forgotten yet, is what rank I want to have, right? Please tell me I'm right...". Almost tilting her head to one side, sitting in a fairly relaxed position, she waited for the Alphess to respond.

Shirana couldn't help but to chuckle at the overjoyed fea. "Hypnosis, thats an nice name, I assume you have the talent of it?" Shirana asked, sitting down with the fea. "Yes, you are indeed right. Now, which rank do you want? theres healo's, who gather herbs and take care of hurt or sick canines. Theres the hantas. who are the ones of hunt for food. And then theres scunna, who are the protecters of the group" Shirana finished, looking up at the sky and looking for the sun, but it was too cloudy to see it. looking at the darkness of the trees around her, shirana assumed it was about evening. "Oh! do you know about the lovely thing the river does during night?" Shirana asked, jumping up.

Giving a deep sigh of relief, and smiling a bit more, Hypnosis felt overjoyed about the Alphess liking her name. If there was one thing that excited this black fae, was the mentioning of having the talent of hypnotism. Hypnosis had that tendency of hypnotizing others, only a little bit, she didn't want to show it too much, only to have her feelings hurt again if the process didn't go the way she wanted. "Thank you. I'm very happy you like my name. Yes... I do have the talent of hypnotism. Sometimes, I have these tendencies of hypnotizing others, but I don't like to show it off too much. I get worried that I might get made fun of, or they just might hurt my feelings and say to me that they don't allow hypnotism or something... I don't know what that is for you... But I'm going to assume that you'll be okay with it. Even if my biggest tendency comes along too fast...". Perking her ears happily to the ranks being listed off, Hypnosis thought for a moment. If she could use healing powers just as well as her hypnosis skills, then it would seem like a big help to everyone. It would get the job done faster as well. "I think I will take the rank of the healers. If I could combine the skills of healing, with my skills of hypnotism, then... I think it would make other lives easier on them. Wouldn't you agree?" Looking over to where the river was, being surprised as the Alphess spoke of what the river did at night, being the most beautiful thing in the world, Hypnosis decided to get an answer from the nice Alphess. "Hmm... I don't know what the river does. I guess you will have to tell me". She sat down, relaxed, and carefully listened to the reply of the Alphess.

"Alright, you will be known as an healo, an I would allow the hypnosis, as long as you don't use it for the wrong purposes" Shirana replied, walking closer to the river. "Oh, it's easier to show then tell" shirana said as she sat down and waited for night to come. After awhile, darkness loomed over everything and the stars twinkled in the sky. The river first started getting hues of colors, then they got more bold and looked like an aurora dancing across the river. Shirana didn't say anything, only turned her head to look at hypnosis.

Hypnosis felt surprised. None of the other packs she was in, allowed hypnotism. "Thank you. Thank you so much. None of the other packs I have been in allowed hypnotism. For one thing, when I would try to explain what it is, they would all just make fun of me and tell me that I would have no purpose in having that technique. But I became wise in not listening to them. I KNEW I could be good at hypnotism". The black fae thought for a moment after Shirana suggested that she would allow hypnotism, but not to be used in any bad way, for there would be circumstances if it was used in that way. "Oh gosh no! I was never told to perform hypnotism in the bad sense. I only use it for good. Like I said, along with the rank I should receive, I could use the hypnosis on the wolves than need the help with healing. Like special relaxation methods and stuff. Ya know, all the good things hypnotism can have over the mind". After explaining in great detail about hypnotism, Hypnosis decided to follow the Alphess towards the river, where she showed where it was. Noticing the sky, painted black with trillions of shining lights that were usually called, stars, and the light shining onto the river, making things seems very mesmerizing. "This place is wonderful. I love the hypnotizing colors. Thanks for showing me this. I think I will like it here". Giving a deep breath, turning her attention on Shirana, noticing she was smiling at her, Hypnosis smiled back, her eyes getting a bit heavy, since nighttime was falling.

"then you have nothing to worry about" shirana said as she stared at the flickering lights for an couple more minutes until noticing hypnosis's yawn. "Your first task is to find an den for yourself. I hadn't slept in a couple of days, so I need sleep bad" Shirana said, her eyes skimming over the forest until she spots an nice hole under an tree across the river. Shirana swiftly jumped in the cold water and swam to the the other side. Extremely cold, she hurried over the hole and crawled in, curling into an tight ball.

The black she-wolf nodded. It was indeed time to search for a den. Slowly getting up, releasing a yawn that was very unexpected, she watched as Shirana fled across the hypnotizing river, over to a tree with a hole, fit for one. She felt uncertain for a moment, that she wouldn't find a den. Were there many dens around to choose from? Walking around, Hypnosis decided to search for a den. The air felt cold, and the sky was pitch dark. The trillions of stars made light. Light that would help guide the way. Getting into the water, shivering as she swam across, the black she-wolf finally made it across. Getting out, and shaking her fur dry. About 12 feet away, there was the perfect tree den. Hypnosis slowly made her way over towards the tree, one paw step after another. Shivering more and more, as the air and wind only made things colder. Finally reaching her destination, she began to make herself comfortable inside the tree den she chose. It was warm, and it was safe from any predators. Hypnosis was happy, as happy as can be.

shirana was about to drift off when she heard an squeaky voice of an pup by her ear. She opened her eyes and saw an brown body giving her big, sad eyes. "Hello, little one. where are your parents?" shirana grumbled, her voice filled with sleepiness as she stared at the pup.

"thank you, you look nice as well" shirana replied, feeling an bit more awake now. She frowned when she heard of all that the pup said. "Oh, may they be resting in the void peacefully" she said, her heart skipping an beat. How awful! no pup should have to endure losing their parents. "That includes me..." shirana said under her breath before smiling again. "Would you like to stay with me for the night? our minds will be refreshed once we close our eyes. Me and my friend will decide how to solve your... problem"

Trim smiled and nodded. She nuzzled up to the wolfs leg and rolled in its fur. Warm... Very warm, she liked it. She looked up at the wolf, before looking around. "Where we sleep?" She asked stifling a yawn.

As darkness fell over the black fae, due to being inside of the tree den, Hypnosis never felt more safe. But... She also didn't much like being alone either. It was quiet all around the small den area, and only the chirping of crickets could be heard. Giving a big yawn, as she emerged from her den, Hypnosis decided to explore the area a little. But... Over on the left side, about a couple trees away, her friend, Shirana, was talking with a smaller wolf. A pup, to be exact. Huh? When did a pup show up? Hypnosis thought that it was just looking for somewhere to live. Smiling, she walked around the designated area. Inhaling the nice, beautiful oxygen that surrounded every last spec of the earth. Remembering her one true self-motto she liked: "When in doubt, Relax deeper."

"you can choose wherever you want to sleep" shirana responded, not quite understanding the pups question. "and whats your name?" shirana asked, hearing hypnosis's paw steps off to the distance.

Trim smiled. "I'm Trim!" She said with a big yawn. She looked around for abit, before deciding to sleep on a mat of moss. It wasn't far off from the wolf so she felt safe. Letting out a small sweet yawn she closed her eyes and drifted into a new world.
